How To Make Money On The Internet Without Products

One of the big questions to open your own business online or offline is what to sell. The good news is that you can make money on the internet without having to create any product.

The strategy to make money online with the product of others is known as affiliate marketing.

Large or medium-sized enterprises with a good view of the online recruiting market affiliates or associates to sell their products on the Internet. The advantage for these companies is that the increase of sales take place without an increase in marketing budget.

The affiliate makes the marketing for the company and earn a percentage of the sale of the product.

Let's take a practical example.

Marina loves cooking for friends, is always inventing new recipes and buying the books of the great young chefs. She has become a source of information and inspiration to the next and his family, and moreover loves to teach.

She sees the Internet as a business opportunity to reach more people and make money with her passion for cooking as well. She creates a website with recipes and tips on how to succeed in the kitchen.

Marina does not know how to make money and find that she can become an affiliate of another site that sells products for kitchen such as pots, knives and other accessories.

She register ate that affiliate program and recommends products from that site. For example, she describes in one of the articles on her website how to make a quick and easy barbecue. The article mentions the type of knife she use to cut the meat and get a result that will impress everyone.

She recommends that her users visit the site of the manufacturer of knives for more information. When a user clicks on the link at the Marina site, go to another site and purchase the set of knives, Marina gets a percentage of sales.

When you subscribe to an affiliate program you receive a unique link that will allow the company to know that the sale came from your site and no other.

Depending on the number of visitors your website receives your income can be enough to sustain you and maybe allow you to drop your long-term employment.

Being an affiliate has a number of advantages. You have your own business on the Internet, promote the products that are most interested in and choose the companies that prefer to promote. It is very flexible and you can work the hours you want.

This business model already has many years and one of the most famous offering an affiliate program is a virtual bookstore Amazom.com.

Here are some tips to succeed as an affiliate:

* Where to stay updated about your market and what people are interested
* Find many affiliate programs within your area of interest and to affiliate to several of them to not be dependent on only one
* Give preference to programs that support to affiliates offering, for example, banners ready, ideas for articles, photos, tips on how to advertise and sell products
* Read the rules of the program to know exactly how you can promote products
* Promote products in various ways, through your website, emails and even through search marketing

You became an affiliate today, creating a blog using a free tool, writing about one of your passions and giving products of other companies. Getting rich on the internet is possible for everyone.

How to Make Money Online with eBay Partner Network

An Affiliate is someone who refers people to a product or service, and receives a percentage of the profits or fees from the sale.

The eBay Partner Network is eBay's affiliate program. It provides you with ways to refer people to almost anything eBay, and pays you a percentage of the fees ebay makes from your referral. ePN can be a money making part of your online home business.

*(it used to be run through Commission Junction, but now ebay runs it)

For instance: if someone goes to ebay, from your referral and,

* signs up as a new ebay member - you get a sign-up bonus amount

* goes to ebay and buys something - you get a percentage of the fees ebay collects from the item's seller (varies by program, but estimate approx. 40% for newbies)
* you can even send people to your own auctions and earn an affiliate fee

One thing to understand, from the start, the ebay Partner Network, (ePN from now on, ok), is a great program, but it is serious about maintaining it's integrity. You must use it honestly, nothing 'sketchy or shady'. They are strict about their rules. This program won't make you a millionaire, but, depending on how much effort you put into it, it will generate a good stream of income for you.

*Note all discussions relate to ebay US, but I will provide links to other nation ebay programs that may have differences

*A note of caution; I've been told I can get 'wordy' and 'long-winded', and yes, they're right, so just skip to any particular section that interests you if you want to by-pass things you already know.
ePN only has two payment methods;

* PayPal
* Direct Deposit to your bank account

So you must have at least one of these to participate in the ePN as an affiliate.

ePN pays monthly, usually by the 18th, and has a minimum $5.00 payout. If your earnings are less, they will carry them over until you have earned at least $5.00.

What you need to become an ePN Affiliate.

* You must be at least 18 years old
* Valid email address
* PayPal or checking account
* Tax number if you are a business, SS# for individuals
* a place to use affiliate links and widgets, (web sites, blog, etc...)

For your online internet marketing activities, instead of a long, long, list where you CAN use ePN, Here's a list of where you CANNOT use ePN.

affiliate marketing web site prohibited content list

As mentioned, ePN wants to protect it's integrity, and moral perception, so you CANNOT use their affiliate links or widgets in environment that promotes:

* Violence, or sexual materials
* counterfeit or fake items
* any type of discrimination
* any illegal activities
* purchase of firearms, alcohol, or tobacco
* gambling or betting
* infringes on the rights of others, both real and intellectual
* promotes medical drugs, ( I think also medicines, but not sure)
* Political content or activities. * This is an 'iffy' one. I'm not sure opinion-type site fall into this category, I think it would really take a blatant in-your-face type of site to get their attention. But... if this is you, you should check deeply to see if your site is allowed.
* Yellow-Journalism type sites that are mostly slanderous and defamatory content

Gee... other than that, you're probably ok.
ebay Partner Network registration information

Ok, hopefully at this point, you have a basic understanding of the 'what is', and the 'do's & don'ts' of the ePN affiliate program.

* what it is
* what it does
* how you get paid
* what you need to become an affiliate
* and... what you can't do

The steps to fill out the form to register, explain how to generate affiliate links and widgets, and how to get started, are all handled very professionally by the folks at ePN. They have FAQ's, Vidio tutorials, and 'hold-your-hand' step by step screens to get you rolling, so I won't waste your time 're-inventing the wheel' by going over all those things here. They do it much better, and they're the folks that know. But remember, I will provide you with all the links you need, at the end of this article.

So, except for a couple items, we will skip those things, and get into some examples of how, and where, you can use them to make money.

* But here's a teaser, this link to one of ePN's FAQ's will show you how to zero in on the exact answer you need. (but don't forget to come back here, OK)

* eBay Partner Network
ePN's Help page FAQ's page with direct links to each answer

The ePN Registration page.

When you get to the ePN registration page, most of the form fields are pretty 'cut and dry', like name, address, etc.., But there are a couple that you should think about first.

Some folks have had trouble getting approved, I'm not saying these next fields are the reason why, but I think poor choices here could be less than helpful.

How to make BIG money online

About a year back I spent 2 months reading different articles and books (there are a lot) about how to make money online. At that point I was looking for a way to make a passive income doing something that didn’t involve being fixed in one place for too long. I found a lot of different ways to earn online such as blogging, affiliate products, questionnaires and adsense. However, I was soon to discover that some of these ways are a lot better than others. For example after experimenting I discovered that answering surveys or questionnaires online is a complete scam and waste of time whereas writing online can help you reap some rewards. After the initial two months I thought I had exhausted all the make money online reading material and most of what I read seemed to be the same repeated or maybe even copy and pasted stuff. Since then I have been working hard trying to put what I learned into action and have had moderate success. However, today I discovered a new and what could prove to be an even more lucrative way of making money online. This is something that would suit entrepreneurs and those of you who have a lot of great ideas. It’s about solving the problems that a lot of organisations are facing today and it comes from a term known as open innovation otherwise known as crowdsourcing.

Open Innovation or crowdsourcing, the future of making money online

In recent years numerous large corporations have begun to use something known as “open innovation” to solve their problems. These problems maybe what their next product is going to be, a good guerrilla marketing campaign to raise their profile or even how to solve the Gulf of Mexico oil spill. Academics and business people now agree that rather than an organisation hiring research and development teams for each new products and new marketing ideas that often the best way to innovate is to outsource. It is felt that the ordinary people who are outside the industry and come from varied backgrounds often have the best solutions. Therefore “open innovation” is the opening up of a problem to the thousands of people outside of the organisations. This is where you and you earning money come in.

How it works?

There are two websites that I use that act as intermediaries between the companies that want new ideas “the seekers” and you the “solver”. Both are simple and straightforward to use. You have to sign up in much the same way you sign up to hubpages. You fill in some information about yourself and a little about your background and then you are presented with a list of problems or “challenges” all of which have a substantial amount of money associated with them. Some of these challenges are related to science or engineering and require training in these fields. However there are also challenges that are related to business, entrepreneurship or even just simple common sense. Examples of some recent problems and there prize money include $7500 for an odor inhibition challenge. Another challenge involved “seducing” consumers into using ultra concentrated dishwashing liquids and fabric conditioners; this had a reward of $75,000. There was also a $50,000 prize for someone who could help a large beer company go green.

Entering a challenge

Putting an entry into a challenge isn’t as complicated as you might think. The companies are looking for an idea not a thesis. Therefore your idea need only be a few pages or a few slides clearly outlining the idea put forward.

Once your idea is submitted it is examined by the organisation in question. They also examine the entries from other members before deciding on a winner. The competition is managed by the website in question and it ensures that no cheating or foul play takes place. The prizes vary; I have seen prizes worth over $1million and for as little as $5,000. Both are substantial amounts of money for something that may take only an hour or two to write up and send off.

The websites

The two websites I found that organise these challenges are innocentive and innovative exchange. Both sites are very similar in their look and feel with simple graphics and uncomplicated layouts. Innovative exchange puts more emphasis on building a teams and adds a social network feel to the site. Innocentive is a little more focused on the non profit aspect. It signed an agreement with the Rockefeller foundation back in 2006 to work on the problems in the developing world.

I have seen a number of other similar sites listed on various places on the internet but thus far these are the two which I have used.

If you have used any similar sites to the two mentioned above please comment below.

8 Ways to Make Money Blogging

As the internet continues to evolve and more people get online, there are more and more new ways to make money from your blog. To date, I am aware of 8 ways you can make money blogging (and that includes adding ads - which I felt compelled to include for the sake of making this hub as complete as I am able). Each of these methods have varying success rates in income generation depending on your blog topic, flow of traffic and blog ranking.

1. Sponsored Posts

Writing sponsored posts on your blog is by far the easiest and more reliable way to generate some extra cash from your blog. How much you can earn depends on the popularity of your blog and your blog ranking. In general, the higher your blog's rank and the more traffic your blog receives, the more sponsored post offers you will receive and the better the rate you will be offered for each sponsored post you write.

There are several sites that can calculate your blog's PR (or page rank), but the one that really count's is Google's PR. Google gives your blog a page rank out of 10. To check your blog's Google PR, you use this link. Sponsored posts usually start from $5 per post and upwards.

The great thing about writing sponsored posts is that you can still earn an income even if your blog is new, with a relatively low traffic count. Most other blog income methods are dependent on traffic flow to your blog.

To get sponsored posts offers, you will need to sign up for a blogger's account at any of the following sites (there may be more, but these are the ones I am currently aware of):

* Smorty
* SponsoredReviews
* Linkworth
* Payperpost
* Blogsvertise
* Blogitive
* Loudlaunch
* ReviewMe
* Payu2blog
* Bloggerwave

I have not seen any rule that says you can't sign up for all of them and generally, the more you register for, the more offers you will get. Each site has its own rules and regulations which you will need to read up on and make sure you meet. For instance, you may be required to have a blog that is at least 3 months old with at least twenty posts; you must not have more than 50% sponsored posts in your blog; your posts must have at least 50 words; etc.

Once you have registered your blog (most allow you to register more than one blog), you will have to wait for them to approve your blog before you will be able to take on any sponsored post assignments.

2. Text Links

There are several text-link brokers that will sell text-links to advertisers on your behalf. All you need to do is submit your blog to them and wait to be approved. Once approved, the text-link broker will look for advertisers who want to purchase text-links on your blog. You will then be paid on a monthly basis for as long as the text-link is hosted on your blog.

The difference between text-links and sponsored posts is that text-links are purchased from content you have already written on your blog. Sponsored posts require you to write new posts based around the text-links they request. Here are a couple of text-link brokers you can try:

* Text-Link Ads
* Linkworth

3. Blogging Networks

Part of the problem of generating an income from your own blog can be due to the low traffic levels you may be receiving. With more and more people starting their own blog, creating a blog with a good flow of traffic is becoming more and more challenging even if you can write great blog posts. To circumvent this problem, you can sign up to write on blogging networks. Due to their large membership of bloggers and content, they usually have better PR and traffic flow so if you choose to write for them, your blog posts have a better chance of receiving more attention.

Blogging networks usually monetise their sites with ad agencies like Adsense, Amazon, and eBay and you will generate an income based on the traffic that visit the articles you write. As I mentioned above, the main advantage for writing on these sites is that they have many writers who are all constantly submitting new articles. The search engines love websites that are constantly being updated so they get good rankings and lots of traffic. Lots of traffic means more click throughs which generate more revenue for the website and you.

Here are some blogging networks you can look up:

* Hubpages - make money from Amazon, Google Adsense and eBay writing articles about topics you enjoy
* Senserely
* Helium
* Creamaid
* B5Media
* Blog4cash
* Blogcharm
* Blogger Party
* Blogit
* Weblogs Inc

4. Affiliate Marketing

If you have a blog that has high traffic, then affiliate marketing is something you really should consider. An affiliate marketing program is simply a referral program that pays you a commission for recommending someone else's products. All you have to do is either place banners, text-links or write about the affiliate product you are recommending. If your visitors click through and purchase that product, you will receive a commission for the sale of that product.

The key to affiliate marketing is choosing products that are related to your blog's topic. For instance, there is no point promoting health supplements if your blog is on scrapbooking.

There are many affiliate programs available on the internet. Some companies offer affiliate programs directly from their website, while others may advertise their affiliate program on an affiliate marketing network. Here are a few affiliate marketing networks you can join for free:

* Clickbank
* Amazon
* ClixGalore
* Implix
* Leisure Audio Books

5. Contextual Ads

If you have a blog or website, you can place contextual ads on them. Contextual ads are basically clever ads that search the content of your webpages and displays ads that are relevant to your content. For instance, if you write a blog post about early childhood development, your contextual ads might display educational DVDs and books for toddlers. A few sites that offer contextual ad codes are listed below:

* Bidvertiser
* Kontera (they have a requirement of accepting only websites that have a minimum of 50,000 page views, however, if you visit John Chow's Blog and sign up for Kontera via his sign up link, you can get your site accepted as long as they find your content suitable because John has a special arrangement with Kontera)
* Google Adsense

6. Shopping Widgets

You can also place shopping widgets on your blog and get paid whenever one of your visitors clicks on an ad displayed on your widget. Unlike contextual ads, these aren't based on your blog content, however it makes better sense to your site if you choose categories that are related to your blog content in some way. My only gripe about these widgets is that they slow down the loading time for your blog. Here are a couple of sites that offer shopping widgets that you can easily add to you blog:

* Widget Bucks
* Shopping Ads

Click here to see an example of what a shopping widget looks like at the bottom of a blog post.

7. Paid Blogger

You can also get a job as a blogger. With the increasing popularity of blogs, more and more companies are adding blogs to their websites to help increase their website's ranking in the search engines. The only problem with a blog is that it needs to be mantained and updated on a regular basis, so these companies are also hiring freelance writers to produce the content on their blogs. You can look for blogging jobs at:

* Problogger Job Board
* Indeed (just search for blogging jobs)

8. Sponsored Ads

If you have a popular blog or if your blog topic happens to cover a niche topic, you can invite sponsors to place ads on your blog for a price. You can include a page on your blog about advertising on your blog and list down the various ad spots available and how much they cost. Anyone who views your blog can then contact you if they want to purchase an ad space.

Alternatively, you can choose to be more pro-active and approach companies that sell products related to your blog topic and offer them an advertising package with your blog.

Make Money Uploading Videos Online

Revver is a fantastic alternative to Youtube since Revver allows it's users to make money online more quickly and more easily than Youtube. Youtube is seen as THE authority in online video, but Youtube makes it difficult to make money using their website. Fortunately for us, Revver makes it very easy to make money online and the earnings begin rapidly.

If you're interested in learning how to make money online, consider uploading videos to Revver.com and enjoy earning money almost immediately. Read on if you'd like to learn how to do this!

If I've got your attention now and you're serious about making some great supplemental income using Revver, here's an abbreviated list of things you will need in order to do that:

1. Video Camera or camcorder (look below for my suggestions)
2. A way to upload video onto your computer (see below)
3. A Revver account (FREE!)
4. A Paypal account (FREE!)
5. Creativity and a little determination!

What kind of video camera do you want? How much are you willing to spend? These are some good questions to keep in mind when thinking about producing video. I would recommend purchasing a video camera that includes an external microphone jack so you can have high quality sound from a separate microphone. A great place to look at for video cameras is at Web Video Zone, but if you're looking for something less expensive, consider buying the inexpensive Samsung SC-D363 camera on ebay. It can be found for as little as $100 brand new and is complete with an external microphone jack.

A way to upload video

This is typically done with the use of an additional, low-cost cord of some sort. This will depend on the type of camcorder you purchase, but they shouldn't cost you more than $10-20 dollars.

Revver and Paypal accounts (both FREE)

Revver's free account sign-up page can be found here and Paypal's free account sign-up page can be found here.
How it works- Revver's payment system

Although details of Revver's full payout plan can be found here, I will abbreviate it myself.

You get paid for your Revver videos based on how many views it has and how many people click through the advertisement links that occasionally pop up before and during the video.

The ads that roll during your video don't take up the whole screen so your video is still able to be watched while a small "pop up" advertisement appears in the bottom 1/4 of your video window. These ads are, of course, how Revver gets paid and how you are able to get paid by Revver, so you want them there!

Revver splits all profits with you 50/50. So for every $10 made, you get $5! You can also make money for posting another Revver user's videos! You can actually earn 20% of ad revenue from the video of other members when you post it on your blog, website, etc!

For further information on how to make money using Revver, see this site: http://www.revver.com

How to promote your revver video and make money
Tips on how to make money online using Revver

There are a number of ways to maximize your methods of making money online with Revver video. In fact, the tips and tricks in this section could be the subject of an entirely different article! Here are a some tidbits that should help you on your way to making money with Revver:

* Get your video stumbled at stumbleupon
* Submit your video using digg, reddit, propellor, etc.
* Create a hub and include your Revver video (just as I've done here)
* Bookmark a link to your video using Delicious, Mister-wong, Spurl, etc.
* Put your Revver video on your blog
* Put your Revver video on your facebook, myspace, friendster, etc. profile page

There are a number of ways to promote your revver video that I have not listed here. Get out there and experiment with them and find out which one works best for you!
Final tips on how to make money online using Revver video

Keep in mind that content is key. Looking at my statistics, realize that most of my videos at Revver are of my cats being silly, baby videos and some other miscellaneous videos.
Your Revver earnings will increase if you have good, original videos.

The quality of the video directly impacts the viewership of your video. If you post videos of your cats being silly, expect to make a quarter per month, per video! If you post an original Simpsons introduction video, you can expect to have millions of views and probably tens of thousands of dollars!

And finally, even if you only post five videos at Revver and they each only earn you $0.25, you will still be making $1.25 per month! That money will continue to compound and add up and you don't have to do a thing!

When you think about it, the earnings you can (very easily) get on Revver can even be more than what most banks pay you in interest each month!

Submitting online video to Revver is a fantastic way to create for yourself a supplemental (or even primary) income source online. So what are you waiting for? Go out there and make money online by posting your video using Revver!

Tips On How to Market your Products With Twitter

If you are looking for easier ways to get the word out about you and your book or business, consider twitter. This micro blogging community is great for creating a bigger online presence as well as directly selling a product like a book.
Take These 7 Steps to Get Going in Twitter:

1. Join twitter. Even if you think you won't like it or it's useful. After I wasn’t active for 6 months, when I did get going, I was surprised how fast new followers joined me. I chose only to follow people in my target market—people who needed my tips and resources for book writing, article writing, and web sales letter writing and book marketing. Your biggest decision? To choose your username. I chose honesty4isaac because I help clients with their books and I also help them with online marketing such as article marketing. It’s actually better to use your real name so you can be found easily.

2. Communicate with your followers. When someone follows you, follow them back. Ask a question about their business. Any time you ask a question, you engage others. It's the true networking spirit. Give and receive. If you don't know about a topic, ask a question. You'll be surprised who will help you.

3. Follow all the gurus, trendsetters, and experts that relate to your topic. Ask them questions. Get to know them.

4. Post valuable updates for your followers. I submit a tip every day usually--something that helps my audience build the book they want to write. For example,
"Know your preferred audience before you write your book. You'll get more sales with an angle."

5. Transform all of your messages to fit the 140 character space available in the space to update in this microblogging community. I created short tips from articles I had written previously, and you can too.

6. Set up a file for quotes from your book to stimulate curiosity. They can be tips and opinions.

7. Set you your book marketing strategy before you leap.

* Decide how many days a week to tweet these valuable updates and decide the time of day you'll tweet. I recommend 3 times periodically during the day. Keep a schedule of about an hour a day and you'll be surprised how many more people will know you and your book. It's really a thrill to pass the 1000, then 2000 followers numbers.

When your write a twitter marketing plan first, you'll be happier with the results. When you post a variety of 140 character updates, you'll be known as the savvy expert in your field, and sell as many books as you like.
